All processes, prior to production are subject to a complete first piece evaluation procedure to assure conformance to customer requirements.  Documentation is developed and maintained by our Quality staff and reviewed/revised prior to new or changed product launches.

The mainstay of our dimensional evaluation capabilities is our state of the art Zeiss Coordinate Measuring machine with networked CAD Interface.  This machine provides five decimal place accuracy with automatic stylus change and full direct computer control (DCC) capabilities. Our Metrology Lab is GP-10 Laboratory accredited and equipped to perform all applicable testing.

Lapeer is committed to using QS-9000 registered suppliers to assure procurement of the highest quality products and services.  All our facilities incorporate receiving inspection areas where purchased products are reviewed prior to release for production.  All finished goods witness a final audit before being released to the warehouse to await shipment.
